The curse of a finite mortality,
Demands choice from us all.
To choose that which we cannot have,
Is a foolish, jealous madness.

Only one who lived forever,
Could experience the folly of infinity.
The day-to-day choices and regrets,
Made endless; magnified across eternity.

And yet, one life feels like nothing,
A shard of glass, easily shattered.
A fraction trying to touch the heavens,
A fraction that cannot be divided.
